Messerschmitt Bf 109
The Bf 109 was a German fighter plane during WWII. It had two MG17 7.92 mm machine guns mounted in the nose of the plane and 20mm cannon in the nose that fired out of the spinner.Under each wing that they could put on a another 20mm cannon.Theodor Weissenberger flew a Bf 109, he was a German ace he scored 208 victories. The Bf 109C had two 7.9 mm machine guns in the wing with 420 rounds each gun.

B-24D Liberator
The B-24D Liberator is an American World War II bomber. It had nine machine-guns. The B-24D was a very big plane, it had four engines and could carry up to 8,000 lbs of bombs. The B-24D did missions in the south pacific and in Germany. In the south Pacific it would do anti-submarine missions, and in Germany bomb factories. It was dangerous to fly B-24s on a mission you could get hit by flak or get intercepted by enemy fighters.

B-17 Flyingfortress
The B-17 Flyingfortress is a World War II Bomber. There were several B-17 Models. There was the B-17B, The B-17C &D, The B-17F, And The last Model was the B-17G. The B-17 could carry 8,000 lbs of Bombs on a short range mission and 4,000lbs on long range mission. There are only about 14 still flying.

P-47 thunderbolt
The P-47 was a WWII fighter plane.It had 8 .50 cal machine guns, it could hold up to 2,500 lb of bombs. It could also hold rockets. The top ace in P-47 was Francis S. Gabraski. He shot down 28 planes. There are only 16 still flying, But there are a lot in museums. The P-47 is a very cool plane.

B-29 Bomber
The B-29 was one of the best bomber of WWII. It had a bomb load of 20,000 lbs of bombs and has 10+ Machine guns. It had a crew of 11, and it weighed 74,500 not loaded and 120,000 loaded. The plane has a top speed of 357 mph, a cruise speed of 220 mph and a stall speed of 105 mph. It was one of the most famous bombers of WWII.

P-38 lightning
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning is an WWII fighter plane. It had armament of 1, 20 mm cannon, 4 12.7 mm machine guns, and 4 three-tube 4.5" rocket launchers or 2 2,000 lbs of bombs or drop tanks. Richard Bong was the the best American ace of WWII. He was born in Superior WI, and flew a P-38 lightning. He had 40 victories. His nick name was "ace of aces" he had 5 awards. the P-38 was among the most famous aircraft of WWII.

the Sbd Dauntless
Today I will be talking about the Sbd Dauntless.
The Sbd Dauntless is an aircraft carrier base dive bomber. It could carry 1 1,600 lb of bomb and 2 350 lb bombs, it also had 2 .50-cal machine guns mounted in the nose and had 1 7.62 manually aimed machine gun in the back. It had a crew of 2, one pilot and one rear machine gunner. The Sbd Dauntless had a top speed of 254mph and had a range of 453 mi on a bombing mission and a 771 mi range on a scouting mission. The Sbd Dauntless was one of the most famous carrier base dive bomber of WWII.
